The application facilitates the work of housing company employees on-site by means of convenient functions for the processing of reports and status descriptions – in safety-maintenance walk-throughs or tenant changes, for example. It is designed for use in all kinds of tenant support and inventory management tasks.
The Cockpit for Staff is the first SAP Cloud Platform-based solution ever employed in the real estate industry, following years of market success of the application’s original on-premise version. The new version, adapted for cloud operation, was implemented by a major Datatrain client early last year.
One of its distinctive features is the intuitive user interface, which orients itself to the specific user’s tasks. The information entered is filed in the SAP system, where it is directly – and, in the ideal case, automatically – further processed. This lowers the error rate and raises process efficiency. The cloud version, which offers a number of longer-term advantages, protects data by means of powerful user management functionality, various authentication modes and other built-in services.
At the information day event for SAP Cloud Platform partners in Walldorf on 28 March 2019, Datatrain GmbH was presented with its third-place competition award. Founded in 1999, the Berlin consulting and software firm supports real estate companies in digitalisation and develops SAP-integrated software solutions that are in use at many companies in the industry.
For each of the three competition winners, SAP is producing a video demonstrating the advantages of the respective solution. The video for Datatrain’s Cockpit for Staff will soon be available. The MEE SAP Cloud Platform App Contest (for Middle and Eastern Europe) was first held in 2016. With the award, SAP seeks to attract greater attention for the winners among their clients and partners.
